As I was doing my walkthroughs today, it is so refreshing to see individual playlists and station rotations being used to meet the needs of our students. Blended learning is such a great instructional program that instills independence, dependence, and co-dependence. Great to see students continuing on their learning path with modalities connected to the online and guided component. Great seeing students working on online programs that have an element of student control over the time, place, pace, and path. Great seeing teachers using PBL's and Projects to strengthen and integrate their learning experience. My question to you: Are you blending? Some photos below of BL in action!

Day 154: Are you blending?
Day 154: As we continue on our journey, I am getting more and more impressed with the level of engagement of the students and staff. In years past, this time of year is mainly devoted to reviewing for end of grade tests. Since the EOG's are such an outdated assessment practice that we are required to take, many times we are lured into many of outdated review practices such as whole group instruction, drill for kill worksheets, and reviewing concepts by trying to force information into students.
