Q. How long have you been teaching? 6 years total. 3 years as a TA and 3 as a teacher (All at Hanford-Dole)
Q. What grade do you teach? Kindergarten
Q. How has your first year went with BL implementation? I think it’s been a great start with BL. The students have the routine down and are showing great progress!
Q. How has BL changed your thoughts about teaching? It’s a completely different way of preparing, organizing, and teaching lessons. One of the biggest thoughts I have about Blended Learning is in terms of our Kindergarten students. The kindergarteners that started at Hanford-Dole this year will not know a different way of learning. Blended learning will be a part of the rest of their school career!
Q. If you had one word to describe BL what would say and why? Focused. It helps the students stay focused on their work. It also allows the teacher to focus more on individuals and small groups easier.
