Mrs. Weaver guided station in station rotations is one of the best! 

Q. How long have you been teaching?

I have been teaching for 3 years, but I was a TA for 4 years prior.

Q. What grade do you teach?

I currently teach second grade, but have taught first and fifth grades too.

Q. How has your first year went with BL implementation?

I love Blended Learning. I have always used the station rotation model in my classroom except when I taught fifth grade. I believe it helps me to grow as an educator and differentiate the materials to meet my students needs.

Q. How has BL changed your thoughts about teaching?

Blended Learning is a different way to look at education; it takes away from the traditional setting and gives students the power over their own learning. It has helped me improve my passion for teaching and desire to push my students to desire to learn more.

Q. If you had one word to describe BL what would say and why?  

Empowering. The students are given the power they need to drive their own learning and I often observe my students challenging their efforts to make improvements on work that is needed.
