Day 136: Congrats to Ms. Schultz! Teacher of the Year at HDES!

Day 136: Yesterday we celebrated and recognized our Pearman staff member of the month and teacher of the month along with our 60%ers. Today we recognized our teacher of the year. Our teacher of the year this year as voted upon by her peers is Ms. Sally Schultz! What a very deserving and well earned honor Ms. Schultz was awarded! Below are just a few of the many great things she does for our school.

9. Presented to various colleges on best practices for undergraduate students
10. Through her creativity and innovations she has created individualized playlists and individual rotations in the rotation model for Blended Learning using her own database!
     The list goes on and on such as after school director that now has over 100 students attend and overseer of our Saturday school program, artist who has painted inspirational quotes and created an unbelievable learning environment for her students...BUT the one thing that distinguishes Ms. Schultz is her great attitude and love for her students! There has been nearly 100 visitors who have came to her class this year to see her in action. She is truly a once in a generation, Michael Jordan type teacher!
